Prices shown and vehicle details including mileage may differ from that shown. As the vehicles are used vehicles the specification may not be as standard. Additional mileage may be incurred due to use of vehicles for demonstration purposes. Offers, prices and vehicle details may be subject to change. Any offer made on a screen price, and accepted by Lewis Wood Bros Ltd will affect the warranty given. This may be subject to change only by the discretion of a director of the company and made in writing.
Any vehicle sold as a PART EXCHANGE TO CLEAR. Will be sold as a SPARES OR REPAIR vehicle. No warranty will be given on these vehicles, and the customer must have the vehicle transported away. The same applies to any negotiated sale where a price reduction is applied and NO WARRANTY is agreed. The vehicle will be sold as SPARES OR REPAIRS and the customer must have the vehicle transported away. This is a binding contract between both parties and you will be asked to confirm in writing, (On distance sales purchases) that you are aware of this agreement. If you do not wish to be bound by this agreement in this context, we advise that you purchase your vehicle elsewhere.
Trade to Trade vehicles are sold strictly as seen and NO warranty will be given.
All major repair work is carried out at one of our chosen repairing garages. We have no authority over these garages and cannot be held responsible for time periods of repairs. We will however endeavor to have your vehicle repaired as quickly as possible. We also regret that we cannot issue a loan vehicle during this period and customers regrettably must make their own arrangements. We are however, willing to offer a loan vehicle if the customer insures and taxes the vehicle accordingly themselves for the period of repair. Any loan vehicle will be scrutinized for damage on return and charges will be applied if necessary.
Any Vehicle purchased from Lewis Wood Bros Ltd either from our Garage or through any of our selling outlets, that develops a fault, must be returned to us for diagnostic and repair as necessary unless instructed by us otherwise UNLESS the vehicle was sold with an outsourced warranty. In this case CONTACT THE WARRANTY COMPANY and follow thier instructions. Please take time to read the CLAIMS AND CONDITIONS SECTION in the booklet provided.
Lewis Wood Bros Ltd must stress that any vehicle that is covered by warranty and is sold out of the area will have cost restrictions applied on any repair. We will act fairly but will only pay the cost of a repair up to the maximum that our own outsourced mechanics would charge us.
Lewis Wood Bros Ltd regret that we cannot warrant any Timing Belt / Timing Chain or Air conditioning issues. At the time of purchase, we will offer the customer a replacement Timing belt / Chain Kit and water pump replacement at cost price if the customer wishes, then this would be covered under warranty.
We can also get Air Conditioning done at cost price.
Vehicles purchased from Lewis Wood Bros Ltd via our website are based on the photographs provided We will help in any way we can in identifying vehicle equipment required. All vehicles purchased and returned under the distance selling laws, must be returned in the same way as delivered and at the customers own expense. The customer has a 14-day cooling off period to notify the LEWIS WOOD BROS LTD of a change of mind. (Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013). Lewis Wood Bros Ltd will reduce the refund to reflect any diminished value caused by the consumer using the vehicle for more than would be reasonably accepted in a test drive, or for any damage caused by the consumer.
Lewis Wood Bros Ltd Never takes a deposit on a vehicle, only a holding fee. This means the vehicle is being held for you for a specific time agreed by the customer and Lewis Wood Bros Ltd. No holding fee is refundable if any work has been started on the vehicle or if another prospective buyer has been turned away. Vehicles with a holding left on them must be paid for and collected within SEVEN DAYS unless it has been agreed longer with the company director
Credit Intermediary/Broker Status Disclosure
We can introduce you to a limited number of lenders to provide funding for your vehicle. They may incentivize us for introducing you to them.
Lewis Wood Bros Limited reserves the right to change any of its terms and conditions at any time by posting changes online.
